  2. The author must have complied with the journal’s instructions for authors, such as word count and formatting requirements
  3. The author must have included all relevant information required for peer review, including an abstract, author affiliation details and any data used.

Peer-Review: Stage I

Once the manuscript passes the initial screening, it will be reviewed by an editor, who will be a student member of the journal, on the following grounds:

  1. Application of economic tools to the analysis of a legal framework
  2. Accuracy of the research methodology, i.e., whether the chosen economic model has been applied to  the legal framework in question without any erroneous modifications
  3. Relevance of the topic of the paper.

Peer-Review: Stage II

Once the manuscript passes the first editorial assessment, it will be sent to an expert reviewer on the subject of the article to solicit advice regarding the fitness of the manuscript for publication in the journal.

  1. If the expert reviewer submits the verdict that the manuscript is fit for publication in the journal without any revisions whatsoever, the manuscript will move on to publication.
  2. If the expert reviewer recommends that the manuscript is suitable for publication in the journal, subject to revisions, the manuscript, along with comments from the reviewer will be presented to the author for revisions and inclusion of suggested changes.
  3. Once a manuscript is returned by a reviewer as requiring revisions before publication, it will be finally reviewed by the expert reviewer, who will assess the manuscript on its compliance with the recommended revisions in addition to making any new assessment of the manuscript and the decision of the expert reviewer in this regard will be final. The decision of acceptance or rejection will be notified to the author accordingly.

Concluding Assessment & Copy editing

Once a manuscript is accepted for publication, it will be sent to copy editors who will suggest changes in the sentence structure, grammar, and formatting of the manuscript, which are to be incorporated by the author. The manuscript will be published once the author returns the manuscript with the incorporated changes.
